When a Boston Terrier puppy becomes a new family member, its good to know what to expect in the months ahead.  That way you can provide your puppy with nutritional, socializaton, and healthcare needs.   What to expect durning the time period from 8 weeks until 6 months.
 
 
8-12 Wks.
              Physical coordination and bladder control are improving, but attention span is still short.  Three weeks through 12 weeks is his most critical socialization period, influencing greatly how he will interact as an adult.  Your Boston puppy still sleeps a lot during the day.  By 12 weeks, he'll begin losing puppy teeth.
 
 
Protect his developing immune system by staying current on vaccinations.  Ask your veterination about deworming, heartworm preventives, and flea and tick control.  Take your puppy outside frequently to avoid accidents.
 
 
 
Start basic training :  get your Boston puppy use of the collar, to leash walking, and to come to you when called.  When your puppy obeys a command, give an immediate reward.  Introduce your puppy to a variety of people, situations, and places.  Enroll in a puppy classes. 
 
 
 
Feeding:  A quality of puppy food three meals per day.
 
 
 
 
12-16 Wks.
               The Boston pup will explore everything at this stage.  Continue basic training; of rewards and praise for a good job.  Give plently of toys for chewing, play with your Boston puppy, and offer lots of exercise.  Cut feeding to 3 meals a day.
 
 
 
4-6 Months
This period of great physical growth. Keeping socializing the puppy, but be gentle with him if reluctant or shy.  Check the Boston puppy collar as the puppy grows to make sure it's not to tight.  Continue feeding three meals a day until 6 months of age.  Your time and attention in these critical months pay off when your Boston puppy becomes a well- behaved, well-adjusted adult.
